About Samira

My Story

I am Samira

An expressionist artist and Creative Wellness Practitioner, with an internationally accredited diploma in Therapeutic Art from the British Board.

I believe a woman is not missing anything.

A woman doesn’t need to become someone else or find something that was never lost. She simply needs space to come back to who she really is, to herself.

I know this because I’ve been there too.

I was already living through creativity — as an expressionist artist and visual designer — when I found myself facing something I didn’t expect:

S.A 2

Sometimes we can’t quite understand how we feel.

We may know something is there, but still find it difficult to name it, make sense of it, or know what to do with it.

I couldn’t be creative anymore...

I was carrying the pressure of work that asked me to stay creative, while something in me had become unable to create.

So one day, I took a piece of paper and a pencil and gave myself one simple permission: I wasn’t approaching the paper as an artist trying to make something.

I wanted to draw without having to care about the artwork final outcome.

I was approaching it as a person trying to understand what was happening inside

I drew freely. I kept going. I let the repetition of my hand moving across the paper take me somewhere without needing to know where.

And somewhere in that process, I understood something that changed the way I looked at art.

For the first time, I wasn’t looking at art from the perspective of the artist who creates, but from the perspective of the person who needs a way to express, explore, and reach what words may not.

Art didn’t need to give me an answer. It gave me a way to notice.

That shift led me to Therapeutic Art, where I began learning how creativity could become a space for reflection, expression, and self-exploration.

Since then, I’ve come to understand that coming back to yourself isn’t a single moment that happens once. It’s something we practice — by slowing down, paying attention, and making space for what is already there.

The more I experienced what this process could open up, the more I felt a responsibility to make that space available to other women who might be carrying something similar.

Because I know what it feels like to be on the other side of the process.

Today, I bring both sides of that experience into my work: the artist who has lived with art long enough to know its language, and the Creative Wellness Practitioner trained in Therapeutic Art who knows how to use it as a tool for exploration.

Art is a way of knowing

A way to express what words can’t always reach, explore what is present, and reflect on ourselves with a little more clarity.

I’m not here to tell you what your experience means to you.

I’m here to create the space where you can discover it for yourself.

That is the kind of space I create for every woman who walks into a Samira experience.

Samira exists to create thoughtfully held spaces through art-based creative wellness experiences—spaces where women can slow down, notice what’s happening within, and feel like themselves again, without judgment, labels,

Manifesto

You don't have to choose between being the woman

who holds it all together and being yourself.

You are already both.

You don’t need to become someone else.
You don’t need to leave your life behind.
You don’t need to perform, explain, or hav all the answers.

You can slow down.
Create. Notice. Reflect. Return.

Art isn’t the goal; it’s the way in—
a way to express what words can’t always hold, notice what’s present, and see things with a little more clarity.

We don’t tell you what your experience means.
We create the space for you to discover it.

Because nothing in you is missing —only more of yourself to notice.

Art is a way of knowing

Sometimes a line, a color, a shape, or the way your hand moves across the page can reveal something before you have the words for it.

I don’t interpret that for you. I create the space for you to explore what you’ve made, notice what it brings up, and discover what it may be showing you.

Because sometimes, giving something inside you a form is a way of finally seeing it.

How I Hold the Space

I shape each experience with intention—choosing thoughtful prompts, guiding gently when needed, and creating the conditions for you to explore without leading you towards a particular answer.

Your Exploration

You don’t need to know where the process is taking you. You’re free to follow what feels meaningful, notice what emerges, and discover what the experience means to you.

And outside the room, I’m simply Samira—still learning, still creating, and still finding my way back to myself, too.

There’s a place for you here, whenever you’re ready.
